that was a really good fight that Cejudo deserved to win. it was also the perfect example of defying boxings idiotic "you gotta beat the champ (decisively)" theory. If you're just better even by an inch, the belt deserves a new champion. So happy for Cejudo.

Garbrandt needs more discipline. he was fighting a great fight then as soon as he lands his first big shot he loses his mind and starts recklessly loading up from a distance and tries to force a KO. TJ is to great for that amateur shit. Such a far cry from his disciplined masterpiece against Cruz, where he won a decision, not a KO. The personal feud probably got to his head. He needs to be mature enough to realize a razor thin split decision wouldve sufficed if need be. Hopefully he finds that maturity cause he still has elite talent.

TJs right eye was basically shut, probably from the first couple big punches Garbrandt landed. Thats how hard Cody hits. First fight, he badly stunned TJ with a single big shot in the 1st. Guy needs to be taught to trust the process of his offense. He would KO most guys if he just calmly sticks to his fundamentals.

Hes impatient and he smells himself after he lands. For all his brilliance though, his punch resistance and recovery aint much. In no time after getting hit, his punch speed slowed right now...as if his arms were as heavy as logs. Dudes get hit, sometimes really hard.....but if everything in your punches suddenly goes that quick, there are other issues at play.

But dude dont strike me as the type to face then, because thats two stoppages in a row, and the last one was because he had back problems...so we'll wait on this times excuse.

yea pretty much all true. the punch resistance is the biggest concern. TJ can crack but he's no devestating puncher like that. Also would help if he knew how to grab someone and buy some time when he is hurt. 1st fight he had no time. 2nd fight he had plenty of time to try and recover.

Dude in Bellator landed a legit superkick. Stone Cold would have ducked that shit and stunned his ass, but still impressive.

did he stomp his foot on the ground 8-10 times before delivering the super kick?? HBK would always tip his opponents off that way. That and 20,000 people slow clapping along with each stomp.
