Linares is a bit overrated because people want him to be better than he really is. He'll be competitive for like 4 rds and be stopped in the 9th or 10th.

I was thinking a 9-3 or 8*4 UD.

I want to say Linares, and I want to say that he's going to at least make it 12. But Linares has been put out 3 times before...and hasnt fought anyone the caliber of the Matrix. 9th or 10th round stoppage seems about right.

Linares is a straight line fighter who uses his athleticism and quick reflexes to basically overwhelm his opponents. That won't work vs. Loma. Linares didn't even look that good against Gesta and Loma is a much better southpaw than Gesta. Loma will have to work in this fight, but he simply has too many angles for Linares. There's a reason both Walters and Rigo quit. Loma has barely taken it out of 2nd gear in his fights and he hasn't even really needed to. Other fighters simply can't deal with the movement. Gary Russell is still looking for his jock.

Couldnt help but put 20 down on Linares. But I dont expect him to pull it off. Strange shit happens sometimes though.

This is gonna be too hard a fight for Linares to win. he's gonna have to beat Lomas activity, his movement, his stamina, and if he beats all those, the judges too. He'll have to KO him to win.

That was good. :boxer: :boxer: props to linares for fighting him like a man, fight played out exactly like my Facebook prefight breakdown lol I said late stoppage, Linares dangerous but all his losses stoppage. That was some great work leading to the KO. A great body shot hurt Linares a little earlier, the combos to the head occupied and brought an even more ferocious body shot for the KO. Loma responsed like a champ

Too many speed, movement, and stamina from Loma. Power isnt the deciding factor....after 9 or 10 rounds, his power and speed aren't falling, while his opponent is out of juice and getting sloppy, much like Floyd his whole career.

It's going to take a Jr WW to beat Loma. Mikey or Regis Prograis after he gets more reps. The other fighters who are talented enough are too young to be fed to Loma.

Easter will get whupped, Tank will get whupped.

And if Loma goes through both of those, you can get Loma vs Crawford will become a reality.

Either way, please spare me Loma vs Pacquiao. If anyone wanna see that shit....

I'm only halfway thru the fight and i'm surprised Loma stood in front of Linares as much as he has. I just figured he'd be working angles much more from the very beginning.

well we're talking about 2 different things here. do we want to see it?? no. would we understand and not criticize?? that should be the case. 12 fights, 3 division champ, already has as good if not a better resume than most noteables that are 30 and 40 fights into it. And he's stopping all these guys not just outpointing them.

I wont watch it. Im not going to argue your point of view at all though. I suppose Crawford is entirely too much for a old ass faded Manny. But I utterly refuse to give Loma big credit for beating Manny's old ass. Refuse.
