This guy is great for Boxing. He deserves respect. I was down on his opponent, but I give him props for still fighting and I like the way he bombed out Vanes last night. A round after Vanes have him some trouble. He doesn’t play around when he has a smaller fighter in front of him. Just like Brook. Just like a MW champ is supposed to do. Nobody has done Vanes like that. All action style. I say fuck canelo and what hBO wants. Give me Jacobs again or Charlo

Are you fucking kidding me?

Respect for what? Beating a guy who he was supposed to beat?

He should've been fighting Derevyanchenko. I hope the IBF strips Golovkin.

Vanes is a marginal fighter at best.

GGG was supposed to destroy his Armenian ass but he doesn't get props for it.

No, Im not gonna let you have a way with changing narratives. When not a single judge gives Vanes the nod against Charlo or Lara. Those fights cannot be classes as super close. Hes 154's gate keeper. GGG KO'd a division under gate keeper...who hasnt fought in 2 years....with prep vastly favoring GGG. I respect him for taking out the garbage. But you should recognize it for what it is.

Charlo was not sure if he won, look at his reaction afterward, also Vanes had two fight with Lara, one being a tech draw, so yes they were super close.

It’s not really all about Vanes, 20 defenses is impressive regardless, blew his ass out, we all knew what time it was, but he deserves respect for being a classy dude, all about that action. I feel Boo Boo would have been better , but I understand.

Their first fight ended in a technical draw after 8 rounds, so you cant call no super close on that shit...no idea how that could have ended. And the rematch wasnt no super close as the refs didnt score it that way. And Charlo isnt the first fighter to not be happy with his performance. That aint nothing to indicate the closeness of a fight.

But like i said, even if you hold that, 2 year layoff, and only last minute prep for a qtr camp coming off of a layoff. GGG cant claim much at all. Glad he took out the garbage, that it, because that's what Vanes was here under these circumstances. Garbage.

I didnt say that they werent competitive. I said that they werent "super close". Cotto-Mayweather was a competitive fight, but it wasnt close.

And none of those guys were fighting the guy off of a 2 year layoff, and on a shortened camp.

Either Charlo would have beaten the shit out of last nights Vanes.

No they wouldn’t have. Vanes was in shape, made weight easily and won the first round.

And you call Vanes garbage but GGG ‘s garbage is better than charlos “title win” lmao

well they were close as well, especially Charlo. Lara rematch not so much. GGG deserves credit for taking care of business and putting on a drama show. nothing more nothing less.

If you believe a guy coming off of 2 years layoff can get the cobb webbs out and get in shape in about a month. There is no point that I continue this discussion with you. :eusa_snooty:
