If you think for one second the Flacco was the main reason they won the SB this year your out your fucking mind. That defense played out of their minds. They are going to be missing the biggest motivational part of that defense next year and I wouldnt be surpised to see other key players go too after this bullshit contract they gave Flacco. Yea and i'll keep going back to that Denver game because it is what it is. Dumbass defensive calls. 30 seconds left in the game ya'll were done. No team is gonna be winning SB's every year on hail mary madden bullshit. Your probably the biggest clown ass bitch in here right now deep throating FLacoo's nuts when you know damn well yourself he ain't gonna be shit. I'll bet you turned that denver game off with 30 seconds left too. Bitch. Just sure your bitch ass is on here next year when they implode and your 20 mil wannabe QB looks like dogshit on the process. I'll make sure I bump this shit for you too. Nope, I watched that 70 yard bomb as it happened and when Peyton broke your bitch ass heart when he choked and threw that pick. I watched the whole game cuz I'm a Ravens fan, something you'd know nothing about you fuckin clown. I'm guessing you're being a fake Broncos fan again this year? When Peyton hangs em up, are you going to go back to being a fake ass Colts fan? Maybe you'll start rocking that Flacco sig you used to have when Flacco wins another SB ring and start being a fake ass Ravens fan?? Fuckin faggot.

I don't even know what you're arguing. You've already said there's QBs clearly better than him, so we both agree he shouldn't be the highest paid player in the league. The end. He was worth the money it took to keep him. If the Ravens tagged him, there were teams out there that would've dropped 2 first round picks to scoop up Flacco in a heartbeat. You said it was an insanely stupid move to give Flacco the contract he got but would be insanely stupid would be letting the franchise QB go when you have the pieces to win another SB right now. And keep knocking clutch guys who rise to the occasion like Flacco. You've followed steamin Willie Beamin's career on the Eagles who would puke on the sidelines and could never win the big one . And I said a few of those guys were better but Flacco is on the rise and a couple of those QBs maybe only have a few years left, but that don't mean shit anyway. One contract will dictate the next just like Brees did with Flacco and like Flacco will do to Rodgers and Ryan next year but anyway the Ravens are paying Flacco like an elite QB and I don't have any problems with it, I think he deserves what he got considering what he's done his first 5 years and is just entering his prime.

Ive never seen a MVP superbowl winning, no interception throwing QB catch so much grief for getting paid. Some of yall are acting like the ravens are a stacked offense, they arent, or the defense was what won it all for them, it isn't. Other QB's with better offenses around them didnt even perform as well as Flacco. Maybe he is overpaid a bit, but who cares, knock off the shit. Dude is an elite QB, and he fucking proved it.
He'll be shutting the critics up next year, wait for it.

Muthafucka said no to the contract because he believed he was worth more, then he went out and threw an interception free playoff campaign and won the superbowl MVP, hence proving his fucking worth. Give him proper credit, not that of a lucky gambling man. If Eli did the shit, you wouldnt use the word "luck" one time.

He was extremely lucky in the playoffs. Thats how I see it. I dont think he is a great QB. Good yes. Very good? Sure but not great or truly elite. Eli has two fucking rings and I still dont view him as truely elite. Very good yes. But thats as far as I will call him.

cam cameron is gone...
so maybe flacco shows and proves next season... cuz i guarantee they wouldn't had won the superbowl with cameron..
maybe the coaching staff saw a change in him after they let cameron go..
i think it's too early to call it a bad decision.....let's see how next season goes first...

Lets look at the otherside of the coin.
Like a Matt Ryan. Do you pay him this kind of money, knowing he can put all kinds of ridiculous stats up in the regular season, and fall short in the clutch?
Or do you pay the dude who has proven he can be damn near immaculate in the fuckin post season?
If you dont think anyone is worth that, cool. but if I have a choice, I'm going with Cool hand Joey.

This is how I see the QB's as of right now.
1.Brady 2.Rodgers 3.Brees 4.Manners 5.Matt Ryan 6.Big Ben 7.Lil Manners 8.Joe Flacco (cause of SB win) 9.Phillip Rivers 10.Tony Romo
Note: I think Colin Kopperhead, RG3, Matt Stafford will bump a few of those above a notch or two down next season.

intheband02 wrote: He had the 25th best QBR last year. First you compare Flacco's SB run to Dilfer's and now you throw this little QBR stat out? Come on Band you gotta come harder than that . I've ignored QBR ever since ESPN made it up last year cuz it's some bullshit stat they been trying to force down our throats and it's highly flawed.... Flacco threw for 350 and a TD with no INTs in a game and had a 40 QBR?? WTF? When Aaron Rodgers beat Pit in the SB a couple years ago he threw for like 300+ yards and 3 TD's and his QBR in that game was 75.1....Tim Tebow went 8-16 for 138 yards and a TD in a game and actually had a QBR 84.6 So QBR don't mean shit to me, it never has and I'll just continue to ignore it. And Kaos, man there's something wrong with you dude. You got Matt Ryan ranked ahead of 3 SB champions.....Why, cuz he puts up nice regular season stats? Dude plays at least 9 games in a dome and throws to the best receivers in the leauge in a pass heavy offense and puts up big numbers, but ultimately chokes in the playoffs when all the pressure is on him. I just can't believe how you can put a guy like Matt Ryan as a top 5 QB. Dude is 1-4 in the playoffs and was really lucky to get his only win and you dog on Eli and Flacco for being a little inconsistent even though they won SB rings and consistently win in the playoffs. That shit just makes no sense to me.

Sorry Swords but I think Matt Ryan is a better QB than Flacco. Maybe I shouldnt had him below Eli. He puts up good numbers and I fully believe that he will win a ring. He has a solid team around him and he will be back in the playoffs next season.

Flacco's the truth and has earned his payday. That being said I would take Kaepernick over him any day, and i would never want any 1 player making that kinda money on my team. You cant knock Flacco for it tho and hes definitely elite

Virtual identical passer rating...and that's without the running even being factored in. It's not even close, really.

Well Cam's a horrible teammate so you have to factor that in, but I pretty much agree. Flacco didn't even have a stranglehold on his job for like half the season. But football is a stupid sport so this all makes sense.

who cares man,in the nfl nobody ever sees 100 million so it doesnt really matter! farve got the most money out of a 100 million dollar contract and what he got was 55 million. in the nfl u get like 60% of your money if your lucky man, this shit isnt baseball or basketball where dudes see every penny no matter if they get hurt or not!
in reality flacco is worth 15 mill a yr because he has won a playoff game every yr of his career and he's a solid top 15 qb in todays game! that might not sound like much, but with todays qb's its not bad! he's clearly not better than the mannings, brady, brees, rodgers, ryan, big ben, wilson, luck, and maybe even rg3 or kappy but he's definitely top 15 and he might just crack the top 10! newton has compiled 9000 yards of offense with way less talent around him than flacco has had so he might be better also!
if rivers and romo get their shit together they also are probably better than flacco also, but at the end of the day flacco is great in the playoffs and he gets his team there every year so what do u want the ravens to do? romo has better talent than flacco, but he cant make the playoffs or win there... put flacco on the cowboys he wins more than 1 playoff game i guarantee that!
it also doesnt matter if the ravens overpaid him because they couldnt afford to lose him after he just delivered a super bowl! so due to the fact he won a title, and wins at least 1 playoff game every year his true value is priceless! dont u people understand business? who can the ravens get right now who is anywhere near flacco? barkley, geno smith, alex smith, vince young?
get serious guys, there arent any qb's available and while barkley and smith are ok,they'll probably never be what flacco is right now...

i don't get it, flacco isn't as good as some others! his receivers are great, off line too, nah flacco is above average, but certainly not like brady, manning and some others who are better. in the nfl, one team can get hot and win the last couple of games, look at the giants last year!

LOL way better players than Peyton. Get off his nuts you clown, you're almost worst than Wlad when it comes to riding Peyton's dick Peyton had an all world offense and one of the best pass rushing front 4's in the league. Don't act like Peyton had no talent around him, he had a shit load more to work with on offense than Flacco did and Flacco has already tied The Forehead in playoff wins and SB rings with less than half his career. And that wouldn't have been a fluke win in Denver if you know.....the great Peyton Manning doesn't throw a pick 6 to start the game and another pick on his own side of the field in OT to essentially end the game. And for the next 5+ years Flacco > Big Ben. And @ these dudes putting Cam Newton over Flacco. Let's see how he looks a few years from now when his body is breaking down from all the hits and isn't as big of a threat to run anymore. Once his athleticism is gone, he's done in this league. He can't read a defense, stares down his WRs and his passing #'s are aided by the threat to run it himself. You guys seriously play too much fantasy football
