Champ Bailey, Ed Reed and Tony Gonzalez are the new additions this year and all are locks to get in 1st ballot. Also on the ballot are...
Edgerrin James Isaac Bruce Ty Law Steve Atwater John Lynch Richard Seymour Tony Boseli Alan Faneca Steve Hutchinson Kevin Mawae
Any of these secondary dudes deserve to get in?

To me, and this goes for all HOF, if they aren't "no brainers" like Reed, Bailey, Gonzalez, then its a no. If you have to sit, and research the numbers, etc, then its a no. They aren't the best of the best.

Oh please, this happens all the time. PLayers, coaches, gms campaign for other players. It just does not get made public. But to be fair, neither are HOF worthy in my book.

after the 3 obvious locks it should be Kevin Mawae and whoever the fuck else. Law was great but i have to look up how long his prime lasted. Issac Bruce im assuming has a good case based on numbers. I'd also have to do a little research on Atwater. Edgerrin might quietly have a case but i have to dig deeper into him. Same with Lynch and Hutchinson. Not sure about Faneca and get the fuck outta my face with Boseli.

I'm a small hall of fame kinda guy. Some of those guys might deserve it based on who is already in, but I fucking HATE that argument. For example, looking at the Pats dynasty, off the top of my head to me the only HOFamers are BB, Brady, Vinatieri, Gronk, Wilfork (but nose tackles get no HOF love) and Rodney. I don't count Moss as he is already in, and was only here a few years.

Certainly not any more than anyone else on the current list. but again, a deeper look is in order. Do you think Harrison is more deserving than Lynch or Atwater??

But, founding member of the 30/30 club. The rings. Was dominant at his position. Far better Safety than Troy Polamalu. Not as good as Ed Reed who might be the best safety ever, but I think Rodney deserves it. His rep (not just as a patriot) but his rep as a dirty player, etc will hold him out.

Rodney ia definitely getting in. He deserves it and he is in the media. I believe Noss being an analyst helped his case and exfoliated some of that bad taste people had for him.
Far better than Polamalu tho?!! Thats a fuckin reach. Reed and polamalu are in the same realm of greatness, though Ed may be better. And the best safety of all time is Ronnie fuckin Lott ok get that straight

I might have to consider edelman too. Post season monster So my Sb euphoria is wearing off, and I retract this statement. Love Edelman, love what he does for this team, he is the perfect patriot, but no, he is not HOF worthy.
