Oline needs to shut the fuck up. when the NFLPA makes their case for guaranteed contracts during the next negotiations, Leveon Bell should probably be Exhibit A of their case. But these idiots want to throw him under the bus. how stupid can you be??

They know they need him to win. There will never, ever be fully guaranteed contracts for everyone in the NFL. NEVER. So they want to win, and they need him to win. He is thumbing his nose at them, being selfish. I;m not saying its a bad thing, at the end of the day, you gotta look out for #1. But I don't blame them, because they want him in there working towards that ring.

well how about they are the ones being selfish, knowing damn well Bell is underpaid, touching the ball 400x a season, being the most productive player in the league, arguably, since he got there, but they are fine with that as long as the underpaid and overworked RB is bringing them success. Point is, support your guy but move on without him. everyone knows Bell has a legit beef, why make him out to be the bad guy when the bad ones are the owners??

its fair for Bell to want to get paid his worth before Pittsburgh runs him into the ground. those idiots should be calling out management, not Bell. he'd be there if he were being paid fairly. thats the issue.

How is he underpaid? If he signed he would make 14 million this year.

Bah. More, more more. For a RB? I don't care how good he is, at 14 million a RB in todays NFl is overpaid.

well he's obviously that valuable to Pittsburgh, with his 400 touches per season. Putting up RB1 numbers while also putting up WR 2-3 numbers. You think the Rams are the Rams last year without Gurley?? Saints without Kamara?? At least Rams showed their guy love. Good luck to Pittsburgh without Bell. lets see how it goes.

Just as a side note...what was the last team to win a superbowl with an all star stud RB making tons of money?

or WR?? or TE?? or Safety. or a 3-4 nose tackle. let em all just play for free. or better yet just let the qbs play one on one.

wouldve been ATL if they actually just gave their stud RB the ball 3x late in the game. how ironic. also James White was the real mvp of that game. more irony. and Seattle probably wins if they vave their stud rb the ball at the 1. triple irony.

Anyway, you are generalizing this whole thing, making it about the RB position in general. Steelers dont use Bell in the way most teams generally use their RBs. im not saying the position as a whole should be valued more. For Pittsburgh sake, they should value Bell more.

Ok...so how many rings has bell specifically won for Pitt?

The point I am trying to make is teams that win superbowls don't invest tons of money at the Rb position.

well Bell doesnt play defense or qb. defense and inconsistency from their highly paid qb is whats plagued Pitts over the years. Bell along with Brown have kept them in contention.

Bell is a great RB, but from a team building standpoint, its crazy to me for teams to invest that much money at that position, when it could be used elsewhere, like on D. And if you look at the teams wining it all, they are following that strategy.

Bell deserves better than this from the Steelers. He balls out, yes he would get $14 mill this year, but thats it. There is no long term security in that. So they should pay him, or trade him to somewhere that will pay him, and they at least get some draft capital for him. He has been franchised what, 2 years now?

Last team to win with a high paid RB, probably Seattle. Which was not too long ago. Just cause the Pats dont value Rbs dont mean thats the formula, thats their formula.

Seeing Gurley get his probably really set Bell off too. I feel that deal is what sent everything down the shitter. THe steelers aint trying to do that and and Bell aint trying to settle for less.

Bell has been more valuable and flat out better than Big Ben has in recent years. if Ben had held up his end and played to his contract, the answer to E90s question would be Leveon Bell. so essentially Bell gets devalued because Ben hasnt been getting it done. fucking great.

that was a bowling shoe ugly first half. Eagles have nothing on offense, especially if Ertz cant get involved. Atl is probably about 10 pts from really sewing this game up.

Julio should have 2 tds, but doesnt, because of Matt Ryans inability on those 2 particular plays.

3tds Julio couldve/shouldve had. maybe his td issue really isnt his issue. And a resounding debut for Calvin Ridley. :hearty-laugh:

Eagles are eventually gonna get Wentz and Jeffrey back. sky's the limit.
