i dont like draft grades. every team feels like they aced it. some think NE was great, i certainly dont, rotational RB in rd 1 hahaha, but we'll see. some love Buffalo, some not so much, depends on how you view Allen. Most love the NYG, but some feel they jeopardized the future for the immediate present, and maybe that wasnt smart considering the present depends on Eli. If Barkley is AP and Darnold is Big Ben, Giants fucked up. People love the Colts, Ravens, and Broncos but we've seen just as great college players in the mold of Nelson, Lamar, and Chubb all bust in the NFL. Only time will tell. Nobody raved about the Saints draft last year and they ended up with the best offensive AND defensive rookies.

Even if Michel ends up being more than a rotational RB, say he is a very good 3 down back...still not a good pick, because they pats have proven they don't need that. What they needed was defense.

I like draft grades , cause shit, we don’t got much better to do until preseason starts, we really will not know until a few years out. But Denver gets an A, the raiders while not flashy, get an B+ from me. If Gruden hits on Key, Hurst and Hall they will have a nasty front with Mack and Irvin.

Also martavis for what it’s worth.

NE gets a solid B+. Wynn is a super talented O-lineman, they also traded for Trent brown who is one of the best pass blockers in the league, if Belichick gets the best out of him that is a steal, Michel will put a halt to the rotation somewhat, he’s too good. Duke Dawson from Florida is nice as well.

I give our draft a B. We passed on great defensive talent for a T, who should be solid but maybe not as dyanamic a pick as you would like at #9, which seems to be a trend with our top 10 picks, I do like our WR selections, small quick and frail seems to be Shanahans motto, hell NE has made a living off small frail receivers, I like the OLB and safety we picked in the 3rds, super speed, and we got a sleeper in the 5th, who may end up starting this year. However we took an injured DE, and yet another S who is coming off of injury, so that’s what rings this down. We also failed to pick an RB and I’m not sold on him ass McKinnon or Breida. We need a big body back there

honestly this whole idea of best draft may very well just come down to the Browns, Jets, Bills, Cards, and Ravens and which of them drafted a future HOF QB and which drafted the next Tim Couch . Especially when you look at the Jets and Bills with Tom Brady having just 1-2 yrs left, which team has the best chance to be the next AFC East beast may come down to Darnold and Allen.

Dez Bryant is tired of being betrayed as something that he is not. :facepalm-gesture-smiley-emoticon:

imagine Flacco to Dez. Defenses wouldve been like, "come on, is this serious?"

Post subject:  Re: 2018 NFL Draft thread

He turned it down because he aint like the QB situation.

Dez is trying to rope someone the way Alshon roped the Eagles. 1 yr 14 mil. If he was out for a one yr prove it deal he'd be trying to go for far less. He's coming off a similar season to Alshons 2016 season, he thinks he should get at least 14 mil for 1 year, and then he can try to highball on a multiyear the following season if he performs well.

This is about money, not about prove it. If it was about prove it, dude would be looking for a year at under 7-8 mil, and he'd easily fight a suitor. We'll see the pattern when he turns down more deals. The ravens im sure had a lot of that money in the tail end, which means after 2 years they could have hot caked him and he would have ended up wasting 2 years catching passes from flacco at what he thinks is a lower wage. I probably would have turned it down too.

But that's why dez gotta think long term. Take that 1 year less money deal with a good team and a good QB. Get your #'s up, repair your rep, and make money on that last contract. Unless he's afraid to bet on himself like that....

At this point he's gotta be banking on an injury, which will of course happen.

Post subject:  Re: 2018 NFL Draft thread

you guys are way over analyzing here. Dez fucking sucks. No team thinks he is worth any type of significant salary. He wont be productive, no matter the system, the qb, the incentive, nothing. He's done. He shouldve taken the Ravens deal simply because it was some money.
