My brothers squad. Me the Eagles, my sister the pats, and him the 49ers. They got Jimmy G and within a few weeks "You know we gonna win it all next year right???"

It's too bad we dont play the NFC west next year, I'd like for the boys to put his ass in Protocol.

Depends on the offer. I dont let him go for a 3rd or worse. A 2nd....meh, depends on how Wentz is doing in rehab. A first rounder is very tempting.

But moving him when we dont know whats up with Wentz is a bad move. The positive is that Foles and Wentz are thick as thieves, and Foles already went away once and didnt have a good time. He likes it in Philly, and he dont have an ego. So he might be willing to do back up duty for another year. He won a SB MVP, his value isnt going to drop sitting on a sideline. Jimmy G's didnt.

What I say for sure, the Eagles if they are going to keep him for at least another year, they need to up his pay for that superbowl win, and I'm quite sure that they will.

Gotta give it back to Wentz, it was his second year and he was leading the MVP charge on a torrid pace, we still dont know his ceiling. Gotta double down on that.

He would rate a 2nd rounder easy.

The Eagles really dont have strong needs on the squad, so why move him for a 2nd rounder? There will always be a team who will give up a 2nd rounder for a QB that they dont know how to use lol.

You know, if he retired, I don't blame him. His body has taken a hella beating. I think the concussion scared the shit outta him and his family. That said, he comes back for at least 1 more go around. Where do people outside of NE put Gronk on the ATG TE list?

LOL. For reals, if the Jets don't get kirk, getting Foles for a 2nd and spening another pick on a qb to develop ain't a bad way to go.

He doesn't have the catch numbers that Tony has, but people say he was a much better blocker than Tony. but Tony's gonna hve the longer career, as gronk's only got a few left if that. I settle on #2 behind tony

If he quits early there is no case for #2 at all.

Over Sharpe? Over Witten? Not even Gates? That puts him at 5 best case. Cant play 8 years and get called the 2nd best to ever do it.

That's like when Charles Barkley said like 4 or 5 years before Kobe retired that Kobe was the best laker of all time, and Kenny Smith said better than Kareem???? And proceeded to go ape shit. Part of the shit gotta be longevity at the top. Gronk gotta stay around a while longer.

Gronkl was more dominant than any of them, but I hear your case for longevity. I don't think he retires though.

Naw, not giving you that more dominant point. The difference when it comes to td's per game and yards per game can be easily attributed to the GOAT. The 5 of them are quite close otherwise, with the other 4 better in catch percentage and more longevity. Gron can get there is he stays around and can excel without the goat.

I've watched football for a long, long time. For 20 years with varying degree of dedication.

With that said, there is absolutely, positively no doubt in my mind that Gronkowski is the best TE i've ever watched play football. I'm talking, it's not even close.

To put that into perspective, I'm from Steeler country and hate the Patriots. I'd rate, at their absolute peak, Gates ahead of Tony G.

All-time? I honestly think Gronk goes down as the consensus ATG at tight end. Ya'll are bringing up blocking, yeah, sure, blocking. Good blocker.

MAN FUCK BLOCKING. This dude has golden hands and is the best TE after the catch to ever live.

I am no homer. I am a completely neutral observer. With that said there is absolutely no question in my mind who the best TE i've ever seen play is.

Frankly, I'm surprised there is even somewhat of a debate on it on this forum on the grounds of "all time accumulated numbers" and "blocking ability."

Gronk wrecked hoe. Check this motherfuckers TD reception per game played. Wouldn't be surprised if it's #1 all time.

My final say on that is, fuck numbers. Throw 'em out the window. My eyes have told me over and over again who the best TE i've ever seen play is.

His TD percentage is greatly influenced by being the primary target of the great qb who ever threw a football.

I dont disagree with the product on the field, as I said, id lke to see gron do it longer, and without tom being there. Before I put him over the other greats who did it longer.
