Thought about this one when the Eagles kicked that field goal and won the game. Because they are the only team that I get genuinely depressed over when they lose. I used to feel this for the lakers. I'd feel it for Floyd...if he ever lost :P .... but I get in the dumps man.

I either drink too much after a loss, or stop everything and go to bed. If a broad is with me, she usually getting blown out.

What do you do, and which teams bring that out?

Depends on how it happens. If the pats get blown out, then I tend to get over it easier than losing a close game. But that 18-1 team....I killed a lot of my liver when they lost to the Gmen in that superbowl. I mean, alcohol poisoning level.

If its a severe loss i usually just shut down completely. Dont drink, dont eat, dont wanna talk to anyone, and I'll just sit there and replay certain sequences of the game over and over. Nothing was worse than the Jets loss to the Steelers in the AFC title game and Yankees losing Game 7s to Boston and Arizona in the WS. I was just numb.

Yeah blowouts are easier to get over I guess. Close games hurt.

But do you feel the same for the celts, sox, bruins? Or is it just football?

Ive always been in the minority in this but ive always found blow outs to be more crushing. Jets have lost plenty of close games to NE over the years but only the 45-3 game gave me nightmares.

Let me correct, expected blowouts were easier. The blow out from the team you have no business being blown out by. I remember some years back the Eagles had the browns hang like 35 pts on them. I was late for work monday tuesday and wednesday!

Celts do to an extent. That last Finals loss to the lakers when Perk got hurt still stings because I think they win again if he doesn't get hurt. It has to do with expectations as well. Right now the C's are builing, and I understand they are not there yet. Now if they get bounced 1st round, I will be pissed. Also, with football, there are only 16 regular season games, vs 82 for basketball or 162 for baseball. You can live and die more with each game when it is 1 of 16 vs 1 of 162.

It's agonizing, but I bounce back relatively quickly. The most devastating L's I've taken include the Ewing finger roll, my nigga Starks 2-18, Tito's L to Hopkins, Mets game 6 L to the braves after they came back from a 7 run deficit..... Last night's Giants game

I bounce back pretty quickly though.

I punched a hole in my kitchen cabinet when Tito lost to Hop. Punched a hole in the wall over a online ranked madden game. Broke a window over a ranked online fight night round 4 match(threw the controller) , ripped my Jerry rice jersey when the Niners lost to the Falcons in the playoffs of '98

Broke my punching bag when the Niners lost to the Gmen 2011.

So yea I hate losing
