Lets get this out now, so we can either come back at the end of the year and gloat, or eat crow.

I say it will be Steelers vs Seahawks, with the Seahawks and that D winning.

Pats vs Seahawks is my pick. Seahawks looking healthy and added pieces. Offense still might sputter but I think that D is well ahead.

I get that you dont want to jinx your team by picking them Lol. Yall are in as long as you dont lose Gronk. Steelers are a strong pick though.

Its a mix of not wanting to jinx, and believing that Father Time is undefeated. Losing Edelman hurts more than most people realize. he is more important to the offense than Gronk is.

Im looking at their 11-5 record last year, right?? Then i say, the D looks to be top 5 again. On offense they upgraded, no more useless RB in Jennings. Perkins will be better. Then going from Cruz to Marshall at WR2, huge upgrade. O line, still a concern though.

Well that D has been roasted in 2 consecutive years in the playoffs by Cam and then Matty Ice. Its still top notch, but not impenetrable like it was the year they won it. The D has never been on that level since they won it all if we being truthful, which is why they havent won again, because Wilson and the offense aint built like that. But clearly Seattle is in the mix for sure.

You're spot on. I just think they have more health in it than the last 2 years. Wilson was also playing hurt a lot. But hey, maybe you're right and instead its just absence of youth, guys who have lost a step that do em in.

Maybe the Giants cut Marshall and bring Cruz back. :kopfpatsch:

Still way to early. But, its one thing if you try and get him the ball and its not working. Its one thing to look his way then get off of him if you dont like what you see. Eli wouldnt even look his way at all a majority of plays. Seemed like either Sheppard, Engram, and Roger Lewis were his first looks on every play. It was odd. I wonder if Eli saw some quit in Marshall and said fuck this guy.

I know that 3 of the 4 targets were bad throws, and one was nice with one of those patented Marshall drops. They are probably just out of sync, and obj is a bit of he lynch pin since he'll draw more attention taking the heat off of marshall. Dallas is no push over secondary. Maybe having Marshall as primary receiver was too much for the Giants in their first regular season game, and against the cowboys, or they just used him as a decoy.

4 targets is bullshit though man, put the ball up and let him go get it.

He looked disinterested and emotionless as the game went on.

So the game film says thier were more than a few chances to get Marshall the ball. A couple of off target throws, other times he was open but Eli looked elswhere, or he was open but Eli was pressured/sacked, and a few times Eli had one on one with a covered Marshall but decided against throwing it. I think it'll be fine.
