so OKC is an underwhelming 32-26. we still waiting for them to click and eventually turn it on, or do we accept that a 2nd rd playoff exit is their ceiling while even getting bounced in the 1st is a possibility??

They are an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, surrounded by a riddle.

They've already clicked without Melo and when he plays unselfish ball, but that moment is few and far between, thats why they are only 32-26. Believe it or not though last night was their first loss against the tip top squads, and it happened with Melo and Russ coming off of injuries. I think they get into the 2nd round and then it depends on who they face. But that team doesnt work with those 3 and the rest of those players. After Adams, they literally have nothing.

In a 7 game series they could give anyone absolute hell.

Still dont think George is leaving their in the offseason, nor should he. He's not going to get a better caliber teammate than Westbrook going over to LA, and George aint an Alpha Dog. He got the skills to be, but he aint got that mentality.

If bron goes to LA and comes calling for George, you think he stays put?

Good Question. I dont know. I think its overwhelmingly unlikely that Lebron goes to LA. He cant be the best in LA.

Well Cleveland certainly shot their load at the deadline in an effort to convince him to stay.

Well I watched both those games so far, and the team looks pretty good. Well balance, can pass, can shoot, can defend, and Love aint even back yet. He might stay in Cleveland another year or two I think.

i dont see the allure of heading West for Lebron. it just means you get bounced by GS before the Finals. Stay in Cleveland and dont ruin your legacy, and be good with having a shot in the Finals every year, and maybe GS gets upset or injured along the way, or maybe you can upset them again.

That Lure is not what it once was. The advent of social media and networks make it that you can have the same brand capability regardless of what city you play for. So it'll come down to purely a basketball decision, and if its that, Lebron wont go to LA.

Lebron cant be a legend in LA. He cant eclipse any laker. Better have been there and ran miles. And ya, he's gotta play GS sooner and more. He dont want that.

disagree. Lebron wants rings. he's not picking LA if they are not a title contender with him.

And the Lakers need to move on from trying to Lure players on that shit. Its why they've struggled to get elite players. They got Aldridge in there and dude said all they wanted to talk about was money and brand shit, and barely about actual basketball. It's too arrogant. "we know basketball, you dont need ot worry about that, we'll figure that out later" is not going to draw max level free agents.

There is a hollywood lure, because I hear Lebron is trying to transition into movie production. But he can just get his posse to advance those interests...while he worries about ball.

Lebron can do more for LA than LA can do for Lebron.
