Nonsense. The stars just havent aligned for him. Cmon he has shitty luck.

And sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

You dont fire division winners unless its for an All time great coach. I dont see any of those available minus Coughlin who is old as shit.

Trust me, we fired Harbaugh for who?!! Exactly. If they fire him they will be a top 10 draft picking team

As long as lewis is the head coach, they will be stuck in neutral. Lewis is not capable of taking this team any further than he has. So if your a bengals fan and you are content with getting bounced in the 1st rd of the playoffs every year, Lewis is your guy.

Asinine statement. Quite the opposite, they'd probably win a playoff game. Just like Gruden took Dungy's team over the top because Dungy couldn't do it. Talent is there, coaching isn't. 13 years, no playoff wins. Inexcusable. And as we saw late in the Steelers game, apparently he isn't running the most tightest controlled ship.

I bet Hugh Jackson gets a HC job somewhere (NYG should hire him) and wins a playoff game before Marvin Lewis.

Bullshit. Ok so by your logic Gruden couldnt get the Raiders over the top right?! Man that Tuck rule was bad coaching

Dungy ended up winning in Indy so thats pointless. Its not Tonys fault he ran into the greatest show on turf.

Alot of this game comes down to the breaks, hiw the cookie crumbles. These arent series like other sports, one game decides it all. Carson palmer breaks his leg first quarter in that other game. Andy dalton doesnt show up last few years then this year breaks his thumb. The guy puts out teams that go out and compete. He didnt make J Hill fumble the ball.

They are the bengals for gods sakes. They are cursed just like Cleveland. Anyway there is nonother candidate out there to fire Marvin Lewis for, thats a fact. You dont just fire a guy and replace him with who, Chip kely?!! There are at least 20 teams out there who would prefer Marvin Lewis as their coach.

They won the dam division. Just get rid of the thugs like Pacman. But oacman and burdict played great games. Flag happy refs, they need to consider the situation. You dont fuckin hit a team with another 15 yard penalty when a coach is out there talking shit, call a penalty on both and let them off set then. Burfict played a hell of a gane and i hope Brown doesnt play. Tore up Bens ligaments and KO's brown, thats fuckin bad ass :finger:

13 years of bad luck. ok.

so how long exactly would you give him?? lets say it goes to 20 years with no playoff wins. Still keeping him?? Or as long as he is regular season champion he's pretty much untouchable??

Ok, plenty of coaches have 1 playoff win, so what. Then they are gone. Shit harbaigh has several and his candy ass is back in college. Even chip kelly has a playoff win. Big fuckin deal. Do they years of playoff appearances?

He has helped put together solid teams. Right now, you fire him, for who?! Maybe Hue gets a promotion and that could work, but Marvin has been a solid coach.

Maybe if these Qb's show up for these games he could win one

Burfict cost his team a playoff game with a blatant dirty cheap shot, and Marvin Lewis comes out and says ''well he only had 3 personal foul penalties he hasn't been that out of control.'' No wonder players like Burfict do shit like that, HC has there back. Its not about winning just one playoff game, the playoff talk is just the framework towards the realization that the Bengals haven't and never will go anywhere with Lewis as the HC. You trying to win an eventual SB or just a few division titles here and there??

Burfict didnt cost them shit. Pacman, joey porter, jeremy hill and a bitch ass ref did. That hit was fine. Old school playoff football. Knocked AB the fuck out thats what you do to your rival. Shazier did the same to Bernard and didnt get shit. Fuck those rules.

Anyway when your the Bengals you cant be picky. They have sucked long before Lewis and they will suck after. How many years did Bill cowher go without winning the big game.

How you gonna compare Shazier and Burfict?? Crazy talk man. Shazier went to tackle an actual ball carrier. Burfict, with the Bengals trying to stop the Steelers on the last potential game winning drive, went out of his way to take out Brown when the pass was clearly incomplete and he had more than enough time to pump the brakes and not deliver a blatant cheap shot to the head of all places. I do agree Shazier, though not a dirty play, should've been flagged based on Cincy being flagged earlier for what was actually a clean shoulder to shoulder hit. That's the legit comparison to gripe about.

2-4 and still the ultimate enabler of unprofessional conduct. I'd fire him now.

Ben hurt. They are alive as ever. I expect them to make a run and win the division again. They have drafted well and look at the head coaches Marv produces. Trust their are plenty worst coaches. And if they make the playoffs you cant fire the guy so get over it

Playoff record I'm assuming. I'm also assuming it'll stay at 0-8 after this season.

Before he got there, they hdnt made the playoffs since 1990-1991. Now they are a staple, but fire him?!! :kopfpatsch: :kopfpatsch: Okay and end up with another serious drought. Its not like they are on the cusp of a championship. Watch him get them there again this year

Meaning his QB's were better than Mark Sanchez, TJ Yates, and Matt Schaub. 3 QB's who beat Marvin Lewis in the playoffs.

Only you would go to the grave defending a guy who can't win in the playoffs.

Here is another statistic for you. 6-23. As of this time last year (have not been able to find updated numbers) that is Marv's record in prime time national games. 6-23 in prime time and 0-8 in the playoffs. This is the dude you are defending?
