Please tell me you saw this tweet from Covington about Mike Perry over the weekend.

“Hey @PlatinumPerry, maybe having your ratchet horse faced girlfriend as your head trainer isn’t the smartest idea on planet earth,” he wrote. “But hey, when you’re the product of cousins f–king in Ocala (Florida) how strong can your decision making skills be?” he tweeted.

 THEM's FIGHTIN' WORDS!!!

Covington is right, but why is he picking a fight with someone outside the divisions top 10?? :eusa_think:

I tried to look up Cyborgs opponent in an attempt to show that the fight on saturday wont be a squash match. it's gonna be a squash match.

How long you think its gonna go Austin?

maybe 3 minutes, or Cyborg can take her a few rds to try and legitimize the fight.

I say beginning of the 3rd round, a wide ass whippin and the ref stops it. Dont think she has the KO power having to cut so much weight.

Frankie Edgar shockingly KOd by Ortega via a savage Ryu uppercut.

Impressed with Ortega doing what nobody else has done, stop Edgar. And, Edgar has been in with the best of the best and one of the best himself. Ortega on a hot streak. I thought he was losing against Moicano in a damn good stand up fight until he did what he does, strangle guys and doing it in late and good fashion.

i will be even more impressed if he can win his next one. Max Hollaway has become one of the best couple fighters on the planet in my opinion. i suppose any man can be beat, i just don't see Ortega doing that to Hollaway.

moving forward a year or 2, pending both keep winning (or anytime really), Max hallway vs El Cucuy could be a real super fight.

Holloway has to avenge that Conor loss so many years ago. its a couple of fights away. Perhaps Conor beats Ferguson and Max beats Ortega, then Holloway moves up to an immediate title shot. But, Ortega is no guaranteed win for Holloway.

Romero-Whitaker fin'a rematch. i think Romero takes him this time. Dude is to skilled and deadly to have never called himself champ. But at 40, and already having lost to Whitaker, this is probably his last shot. in fact, i bet he retires on the spot if he loses.

I agree.

SO whos next for St.Pierre?

I think it's gotta be Woodley. McGregory has too much other business to handle, and he's too small for St.Pierre. McGregor is also the easier fight. Woodley will be a problem for St.Pierre's old ass, does he want problems for less money?

Isnt he injured recovering from shoulder surgery?

What, eye water and wait for Thurman for his vaginal injuries, but Minnie needs to get over it asap and get back in the octagon?

Thurman got a fight yet.....? Who with?

Minne aint looking for a tune up either, he going right to Dillashaw in July I hear.

Making Keef look pretty bad by comparison.

so FS1 has its UFC 25 Greatest fights countdown and Conor-Nate 2 is #1. Kind of surprising. its definitely top 10, maybe top 5. ATG fight either way. But rewatching it right now, 2 things stand out to me more than they ever have. #1, there is zero controversy, Conor won it hands down. Close but clear. #2, Nate is significantly bigger, he had to have had at least 15 lbs on Conor, maybe a little more. it was a legit Welter vs a legit LW.

Calling nate a legit welter is a tough sell when he's never beaten a legit or even fought a legit welter. Blown up lightweight is a better one, and up til conor he was 3 for 6, so even as a lightweight he wasnt special.

And that, makes Woodleys request to fight him even more disgraceful.

Cormier wont be the guy to beat big Stipe. Vitaly Minakov will be the one.
