If what I read is correct,the new XBox has to have a internet connection to work and its all downloaded games only??And both systems are doing away with pre owned games??.......................If thats all true i'll be keepin my PS3 and buying a regular NES or 64 to keep me entertained when they stop updating PS3.Also im pretty sure the new XBox will inherit the red ring of death in some shape or form.

Ps3 hasn't been out for long but more importantly the console hasn't even been used to its full potential and they're already making a new one??

This is just another money making scheme by the crooks..

I also heard that the Ps4 is going to be somewhat weaker than the ps3 or something like that due to Sony wanting to build it cheaper.. but dont quote me on that..

Lemme tell yall something...this was the other reason why I bought a 360 long time ago and started my collection of 300 and some odd games....because I forseen a time when these companies, both Sony and Microsoft, would just get out of fuckin hand with their bullshit. Xbox wanna go with a system where the games are downloaded? Games are 8gb per game right now, and the next gen I have no doubt will be more than that. This is going to force people to go out and spend more money on internet services, just to accomodate their xbox, their netflix, and their general internet usage. The reason why 360 wants to go that route is because they wanna cut out piracy, and they dont want to hit a wall with regards to how much content their game can when they are limited by disc size. Also, they dont wanna have to pay out money to Sony to use the blu ray technology. Their HD DVD tech didnt fly, so now their choices are to use blu ray (which Sony will ass rape them for), spend more money to develop better drive tech (expensive), or just force people to go through the web (which basically eliminates the majority of their piracy problem).

As for Sony. Lets be real. Their PS3 got outpaced by the inferior (hardware wise)...red ring of death infamous xbox 360 over the general lifecycle of the competition, and for sometime they were getting outpaced by the fucking wii. Not only do they not want to blow their load and pay premiums per console to be the superior console on paper, but they want to play the game the same way the other two systems proved is more economically viable. Cut down on costs, dont over pay, give the end user what may be perceived as a "deal", and then they dont have to lose so much money while trying to keep pace or keep ahead of the other consoles.

In the end, its all a waste of money. Without piracy, I have no interest in video games...because dropping 60 bucks for a video game, and keeping up with the latest video games is a fools game. And video games as a whole are coming close to reaching their limits. There is only so much more graphic and sound clarity you can put into video games....and at the end of the day, fun factor has always been more important.

All this talk about video games is making me wanna go home and play the very first Zelda. A real muthafuckin video game!! 1986!!!

The new PS4 doesn't really impress me that much either but I'd probably get one....Just not when it comes out though, I'll probably wait a year or 2.

If the new Xbox's are really like that where you only stream and download games and shit than I'm not getting it, plus I hate paying 60 bucks to play online that shit is gay.

Just go look at the quality of games for rock dirt cheap in the used section and explain to me why I would buy new? They know this and will want us to forget they were ever made and would guess "they" will buy back those used games in time....so get them while they last. Sure, you can go spend the money if you just want to but its the same as burning money to keep warm.

btw....Dark Souls is amazing....and I thought Demon Souls was great. Just fucking unreal....a little gaming heaven for me.
