Realistically though, Oscar and them probably wanna give Canelo a fight where he can look good before a Cotto fight. So this is gonna have to be a 3 set plan. Quillin will probably want a tune up before GGG, so. Set 1: Cotto/Rubio at 158, Canelo/Kirkland, Quillin/Cab Driver, GGG/Garbage Can or other...

What I think is if the numbers say Ward has done better numbers, he is the guy at the higher weight, is the more recognized (which he is), is the second best fighter in the world, and has a resume that denotes a whole lot more accomplishment, then without fucking question he is the A-side, and GGG's...

My only thing really is that a divisions best should be able to get a shot at the division champ. So I'd like to see Cotto fight GGG. That said, I cant argue against the fact that GGG-Quillin should happen first.

 Truthfully I don't want Floyd at 154 either. I want him to let go of that silly belt. There is nobody worth fighting at 154. 154 if the fight is meaningful, sure, and then in dealing with the A side, they can deal with the catchweight :) but ya, I'm more interested in Floyd being at 147. He ob...

Ward needs A fight, not this fight. I don't think this fight does anything for him. If he somehow loses, then he aint shit. If he somehow wins, then GGG was just a hype job, and then the wagon of people saying he should move up and fight 175 guys will continue, which is what he really needs to do. W...

Ward has done more, he has his divisions lineage, he's the unquestioned 2nd best fighter in the world, won the super six handily (not a single close fight), and beat the guy who had the lineage in the division above his (even though at 168). In terms of accomplishment, he dwarfs GGG. I have a hard t...

I like this fight. Let Cotto take on Canelo and the winners can face off. This. Fuck all that Rubio, Bradley or other garbage. Cotto is old and wants big fights. Take Canelo, that's his most money right there. Then he gets the winner of GGG vs Quillin. Since Canelo weights damn near 170 on fight ni...

I'm with Anis. GGG is the bigger draw, but not that much bigger, and Ward has accomplished much more. It should level out. 50/50. Split the money, split the catch weight. 164. Do the fight in Vegas. Solved. Inactivity doesn't play much of a factor here for me. It would if he was fighting a guy who w...

Selling tickets can't be the only factor. I can't get on that. GGG has done very little in comparison to ward, and that's a telling statement given the fact that we have threads here shitting on Ward's resume in comparison to Froch.

neither is, its a 50/50 fight as far as money and ''A side'' goes, and its this type of nonsense that prevents fights from getting done. Fact is they know Ward is a fight they cant win, so they want to make it financially worth their while if they're gonna lose. If im GGG, I see a current part time...

I cant cosign this. GGG and them are definitely trying to talk their way out of their original statement about a Ward fight. Ward has a far better resume than GGG and has accomplished way more. This is GGG and them way of trying to say that Ward should take less money and come down to 160 for the fi...

The difference here is, Cotto has one belt. If you have a belt that you are going to hold, fight guys at that weight. Floyd has two division belts. You guys call it bias or whatever the fuck, but if you have two belts, you're gonna get a pass for not fighting 50-50, especially if you're the unquesti...

Simple fucking question: who should Floyd at 154? Don't be a retard. Most people had Lara beating Canelo. So the Natural choice for Floyd to defend his "lineal 154" title is Lara. If not give the man who calls Floyd his dream opponent a shot. GGG has made it very clear he could make 154 ....

Rather funny that you guys are now giving Floyd 154 grief, when his last two 154 fights were against the two best guys in the division at the time, and one guy just won his last fight against more or less the best guy in said division (albeit close and arguably via robbery), and the other just won t...

So much discord around here, lets see if we can find some common ground.

http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/07/golovkins-trainer-says-andre-ward-a-possibility-if-he-understands-his-place/

GGG's trainer says Gennady is the Aside and that Ward can get it if he understands that.

Thoughts?

I've repped 50 more than anybody. His Floyd act is tired and boring.

And on the Nelly note, who asks their chick about her ex mans dick size?

I'd expect you or anis to ask some questions about that gay stuff, but maybe you do the same shit I guess.

50's act has gotten tired. He's like a immature little kid. He has no relevance in hip hop anymore, extremely little in boxing, now this guy is tryna get on a track with Drake to find some success. He's gonna be coming to the end of his ability to make money real soon.

Not very good fighters have gotten hurt early and made it several rounds. Stevens and Adama went down in the 2nd and 1st and made it to the 8th and 7th, respectively. And they were there to be hit. Floyd is never there to be hit. If he's draining himself down to 154, Floyd moves and outboxes him. G...

I enjoy shitting on Tito, but that 3-3 deserves some fine print. Hop beat Tito at his best, but Winky and Roy got a faded Tito who was just trying to get paid, Roy more so than Winky.

GGG defensively is not special. Tito had all time caliber power. Tito would get up in GGG's ass. GGG has to prove something against elite fighters his size before I put him over Felix.

Both of them are relatively unproven. To me they are basically 2a and 2b in the division since Miguel got to cut the line and get to 1. GGG should probably get more, but not much more.
