"San Juan Boxing Nights" which has led many prospects to stardom, will return next August 21 with the Dominican Civil War between Marcos" El Tigre "Jimenez against Daniel" Azuquita "Jimenez, as well as the reappearance of the unbeaten Carlos Negrón, at the José "Chelo" González Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum in Hato Rey in a PR Best Boxing Promotions card which is viewable by "Pay Per View."
The Olympian Negron (3-0, 3 KO), born in Villalba, will face the American Geovante Davis (3-3-1, 2KO) for four rounds at the 185 lbs. The Puerto Rican comes for the knockout from the first round, as he did last June versus Kenny George. Toabajeño Gonzalez, with 6-0 mark and three KOs, will face Joan Cesáreo (6-2, 1KO), Luquillo, at 135 pounds and six rds. The main event of the night is the stellar matchup between Dominicans living in Puerto Rico, Marcos "El Tigre" Jimenez (16-1, 10KOs) and Daniel "Azuquita" Jimenez (18-3, 10KOs), who will fight for the WBA Fedecentro title at 130 pounds. There will be seven other fights on the card, which will be announced shortly. The cost of "Pay Per View" for all cable and satellite services is $ 24.95.
