Orion Sports Management announced today that after IBF Super Bantamweight champion Steve Molitor sustained a leg injury in training, he will push back his fight against the UK’s Jason Booth until September 11. “It’s unfortunate, but Steve has suffered a stress factor, and can’t properly train for Jason Booth. So it’s not a situation where we want to move this fight back,” said Allan Tremblay, President of Orion Sports Management. “It just needs to be done.”

WBA super flyweight world titlist Hugo Cazares arrived in Mexico City Monday ahead of his fight Saturday against Everardo Morales (34-14-2, 23 KOs). Cazares hopes to finish the fight early, at the most in the fifth, to allow himself to get back into the gym and continue training for new possibilities. Said Cazares, "I know that he is also prepared and hopes to not waste a new opportunity in his career, the bad things for him is that I will do whatever it takes to win, and now that I am champion again I want to enjoy it with as many fights as possible. As long as we can we will keep fighting."
